These workshops are the natural evolution of the public Alexander Technique classes that I have been running for many years. The new name reflects the humour that has become so typical of the workshops as well as the opening-up of life-possibilities that they tend to foster.
Workshops are practical. We usually start with a "learning warm-up" - nothing strenuous, just some simple explorations of movement and sensory experience that help to open up a shared learning space. Each participant then has the opportunity to work with me on an activity of their choice. This may be anything - yoga, playing a musical instrument, public speaking, decision-making, or simply learning how to sit, stand, and move around in ways that don't cause pain.
Observation skills are encouraged as I work with each participant in turn. This tends to add a dimension to learning. I find that group workshops form a flexible foundation from which participants can apply Alexander Technique, NLP and other processes to many areas beyond their initial interests.
Shared themes often emerge in each workshop, and we take some time to reflect on each others' learning and experiences.
